Day 26: September 25, 2023
2 days left
Walk ends in Milwaukee on Wednesday!
Loved entering Wisconsin today! I’ve been here a few times before, and always had a great time! Joe Rodrigues, SDS, showed me an incredible time in Milwaukee when I was here about 6 years ago!
I’ve never did any official runs through Wisconsin so I was anxious to get here. It is a beautiful state! We arrived in Kenosha with a beautiful downtown, and view of Lake Michigan! And, the best thing, the walk is not only now 2 days from Milwaukee, but the walk returns next year to start the third leg from Milwaukee, and then across Wisconsin and Minnesota.
All the states on the rest of the walk to Seattle are licensed for naturopathic medicine, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Washington, which is awesome for organizing for the last 3 legs.
Today, my legs wanted to go fast. It was probably was my fastest day, recording most miles between 16 and 18 per minute.
Thank you so much for your support in whatever way you helped. This is a “team sport” even if a “solo” walk. I literally could not do this without you!
